This heritage home underwent a large renovation. The kitchen was closed in with a stone fireplace in the centre. Once the fireplace was removed, we were able to open the room and add a large island with an extra thick countertop to accommodate a tall family. With glass doors along the top and a classic white colour, the home maintains its character but with a much-needed update. This kitchen was a runner up in the 2020 NKBA Design Excellence awards.
